I’m a Christian, husband, father, teacher, coach, and devourer of chips and salsa.  I absolutely love serving the Lord at Liberty Baptist Church in Durham, NC.  My wife (Sarah) and daughter (Kelsey) love and support me like no other people.  I love them both dearly.  I count a select number of people as my heroes.  One person on that short list is my father, Pastor Jack Cox.  I have watched him live out what he preaches.  He never let me think that working in ministry was a second-rate occupation.  He serves the Lord with gladness.  My mother has stood faithfully by his side for over 40 years.  What a great couple!

This blog will let you find out a little about Religion (I hate that word), Politics, and Sports.  I am a devout Christian.  I’m tired of all the inner-fighting amongst those that are saved by the blood of Christ.  I am a Conservative that takes an overly-simplified view of politics.  I am also a Duke fan, but I keep an open mind.
