Where’s this guy been?

WOW! Father’s Day? It’s been THAT long?!?! Ha ha ha! Well, I had somewhat forgotten that I had a blog. Things have been busy. I’ll get you back up to date here as much as possible.

Sarah, Kelsey, and I had a great summer! We were able to spend some time with Sarah’s family in Florida on our yearly vacation. We also spent a couple of days in Pigeon Forge with my folks. Kelsey is growing like a weed…actually she’s kinda small, but she’s the cutest girl you’ve ever seen! I’m proud to say that she’s unashamedly a Daddy’s Girl so far. It’s a great feeling to know that she cries when she’s taken from me.

Beginning in August, I began the role of Administrative Pastor here at Liberty Baptist Church. This removed me from my 5th grade teaching duties, and gave me an opportunity to work in the church. I am basically my dad’s personal assistant, planning and keeping track of his schedule. I deal with our church health insurance, continue to run the church bookstore, and assist my dad in his HS principal duties. Those duties would be a challenge and an experience, but God has allowed me the one duty that keeps me going. I am now in charge of all of our church’s Outreach Ministries. I cannot wait to get this ministry revived! God can and will do a GREAT work through the great members at Liberty Baptist Church.
